RevComm Inc. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takeshi Aida) has completed the first close of its Series B funding round, securing JPY 3.35 billion (approximately USD 20.6 million) through a combination of equity and debt financing. This funding brings RevComm’s total funding raised to JPY 8.6 billion (approximately USD 52.8 million). The company will use the proceeds to accelerate the implementation of AI agents and transform enterprise conversation data into strategic assets.

With the aim of actively investing in startups creating the next generation of businesses, SMBC-GB Growth I Investment Limited Partnership, jointly managed by Global Brain Corporation (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Yasuhiko Yurimoto) and SMBC Edge Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hiroaki Yoshikawa), served as the lead investor. Existing shareholders WiL, KDDI Open Innovation Fund III, Shinsei Venture Partners I investment limited partnership, and Salesforce Ventures—which had invested through stock acquisition rights during the Pre-Series B round—also participated as investors in the first close of the Series B funding round. Including debt financing from The Bank of Fukuoka, Ltd. and Startup Debt Fund Ⅱ Investment Limited Partnership, together with loan financing secured before and after this round, the total amount raised reached JPY 3.35 billion. Including both equity and debt financing, RevComm’s cumulative funding raised now totals JPY 8.6 billion.

The proceeds from this funding will be used to accelerate the implementation of AI agents, strengthen the foundation for establishing Voice AI as a core business infrastructure, enhance the development and go-to-market capabilities of RevComm’s existing Voice AI solution, MiiTel—including MiiTel Phone, MiiTel Call Center, MiiTel Meetings, MiiTel RecPod, and MiiTel for Retail—as well as its generative AI solution, MiiTel Synapse. The funding will also support research and development to accelerate new services development, global expansion, and continued investment in the company’s organizational capabilities.

Takuya Hosomura, Partner, and Kensuke Okubo, Director, Global Brain Corporation

As generative AI and autonomous AI agents become increasingly integrated into business operations, the essence of AI-native management lies in the ability to collect and analyze unstructured data. By integrating Voice AI across communications infrastructure and every communication channel, RevComm has built a platform that holds one of the most critical sources of enterprise data. We believe the company will evolve beyond a voice analytics tool to become the AI data context layer and AI orchestration layer that shapes enterprise competitiveness.

We strongly resonate with CEO Takeshi Aida’s vision of “augmenting human capabilities” and are honored to have been given the opportunity to serve as the lead investor. Global Brain will continue to support the company’s ambitions through enterprise sales initiatives and organizational development.

Yamato Sasakawa, Principal, WiL

Following our participation in RevComm’s Series A and Pre-Series B rounds, we are pleased to make an additional investment in this Series B round. Since its founding, RevComm has continued transforming voice data collected through communication touchpoints such as phone calls, online interactions, and face-to-face conversations into valuable enterprise assets. As a shareholder, we have had the privilege of witnessing the company expand beyond sales operations into call centers, face-to-face conversations, AI agents, and data utilization.

With the rapid advancement of generative AI, the shift toward AI has become the most important priority for Japanese society as a whole. As companies implement AI as a core management infrastructure, we are confident RevComm will become Japan’s AI data platform. As a member of the team, WiL will continue supporting RevComm’s ambitions.

Shumpei Tatebayashi, Deputy General Manager, Open Innovation Division, KDDI Corporation

In its medium-term business strategy, KDDI has identified the social implementation of an AI Workforce that contributes to business growth as a key priority. Many business activities, including sales, are driven by human-to-human dialogue. RevComm’s technology, which transforms voice interactions into structured data and enables detailed analysis, serves as an important foundation for realizing the AI Workforce.

Through this additional investment, KDDI will leverage its telecommunications capabilities and strong enterprise customer base to support RevComm’s continued growth. Together, we will strive to create new industrial value through the AI Workforce powered by voice data.

In addition to its outstanding product and strong growth potential, RevComm practices a capital-efficient management approach, making it an excellent fit for debt financing. Statement from Takeshi Aida, Representative Director, RevComm Inc.

Since our Series A financing in 2020, we have believed it important, from the standpoint of capital efficiency, to maintain a funding strategy that does not overly rely on equity financing, and we have operated our business using operating cash flow and debt. This Series B round marks our first equity financing in a full six years. Going forward, we will continue optimizing our balance sheet with WACC in mind and, with capital efficiency as our foundation, actively pursue investments to maximize our growth.

With this funding, we will further accelerate our business activities, including enabling large enterprises to transform conversation data into valuable assets through cross-departmental adoption, advancing the implementation of autonomous Voice AI agents capable of independently carrying out business processes, and strengthening our hands-on implementation support through the expansion of our professional services.

As our business continues to expand rapidly, RevComm is currently engaged in active hiring across the company. All of us at RevComm warmly look forward to meeting those who share our philosophy and wish to join us in addressing social challenges through Voice AI.

Guided by our mission, “Reinventing communication to create a society where people think of others,” we remain committed, as one company, to delivering greater value to more people. We sincerely appreciate your continued support and guidance.
